Jewelry Care

Made to last. With a little care.

Every Cano Jewelry piece is handcrafted to travel through decades, not seasons. Care becomes a small ritual — a quiet way of honoring the hands that shaped it and the time it will keep.

Daily Care

It's the last thing you put on, the first thing you take off

Let perfumes, lotions, and oils settle first. Slip your piece on last, once your skin is dry.

Set it aside for water

Remove your piece before showering, swimming, or the sea. Chlorine and salt are patient adversaries of any fine metal.

Return it to its pouch

Store each piece alone, in its Cano pouch or wrapped in a soft cloth, away from other metals.

The Cleaning Ritual

What you'll need

1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon powdered soap (free of bleaching particles and parabens — laundry powder works well), warm water, a small soft brush kept aside just for this purpose, and a small bowl.

Step 1 — Prepare the mixture

In a bowl, combine the teaspoon of baking soda with the teaspoon of powdered soap. Add a splash of warm water until the texture turns into a paste.

Step 2 — Brush each piece

Using the same dampened brush, hold each piece and brush it gently, paying special attention to textured details and engravings, joints and connections, the back of the piece, and areas where dirt tends to build up.

Step 3 — Rinse

Let the mixture sit on the piece for a few minutes, then gently rinse away the excess with water. Repeat this process regularly to keep your handcrafted pieces shining.
